beauty 'haul'

okay, so last night i went shopping and although i only bought three things, i thought i would right a 'small haul' blog about what i bought!

right so, the first thing i picked up was the VO5 Volume Boost. okay now i'm still not really sure what this does but what drew me to buy this product is that it's 'weather resistant' so i'm hoping it will help keep my hair straight / curled when i go to florida with weekend! i'm going out today, and as it is currently tipping it down i thought i might try it out now and see how it goes! i will let you all know as soon as i do!



right, so after that i bought the Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days, now this is quite a new product and i know this because i first bought it when it was on the introductory price at my local store. now i absolutely love this product, i use it all over my body for the first week of every month or if i'm fake tanning. like all Garnier products it smells yummy yummy yummy. (as you can tell i love Garnier.) it's for dry to extra-dry skin, but i don't have the driest skin in the world and it still leaves my skin beautifully soft. it's got shea butter in and i'm totally in love with this addition, it definatly leaves your skin feeling so beautiful - i often ask people to feel how soft my legs are! but if you're looking for a good moisturiser to get rid of any rough patches this is definatly my recommendation!


so, the last thing i picked up was a complete impulse buy, it's the new Nivea Hydrocare lipbalm. now i am a big fan of Nivea lipbalms and this is no exception, i put it on my lips about half an hour ago and my lips are still rub together-able, which i love. it says that it locks in moisture and i don't know if this is a definate but i shall be trying it out for the next few days and make sure i right a huge review about it!

everyday: morning skin care.

bonjourno beauties!
as my first blog, i thought i would spend sometime letting you guys get to know me a little bit better through the daily essentials that i couldn't live without. these are not necessarily my all time favourite products, but they are the products i use, essentially, everyday. they're affordable and defiantly worth checking out!
right so, i'm going to start with taking about my daily cleaning routine. i do try and do my funny little regime everyday but sometimes if i'm home late or something like that i just seriously can't be bothered. so:

make up removers:

i have two make up removers and use one for eyes and one for my face, so for my eyes i use Garnier Clean and soft Complete cleansing milk. (seen right) this is absolutely amazing, it's for sensitive skin which mean it's gentle on your eyes so no pain! although i don't think it says it on the bottle, this cleanser can remove all sorts of make up including scary harsh waterproof mascara and liquid eye liner. i think i bought this for about £3. it may seem a little bit expensive but it's such a good product, and mine has lasted for months - it's all around brilliant.

for the rest of my face i use Tesco Cucumber Cleanser. i know everyone's going to be like, "ah! an own brand product!" but oh my gosh! this is brilliant! it smells soo yummy! this cleanser is only 75p - i know! it's amazing! this is so good, the only, like, bad thing i can think of is that it is really very thin, this means it comes out of the bottle VERY quickly. because of this as well if you've got heavy duty foundation on it can sometimes take a couple of goes to get everything off.




face wash:
okay, so this is a new packaging from the one i have, but it's the same product. once again it's an own brand product but like the cleanser this face wash smells so yummy. as well as this it makes your skin so soft, i honestly can't stop stroking my nose. the consistency is a little bit gloopy, but i think that helps to get a decent amount of the product out of the bottle without ending up covered in it. i wouldn't really say this was 'amazingly foamy' but it defiantly feels lush on your skin and leaves your skin feeling beaut afterwards.



moisturiser:
yet again an own brand product, i do like to try and keep my costs down when it comes to daily skin care because it can get used up so quickly you don't wanna be spending stupid amounts of money every few months when things run out.
now this moisturiser is brilliant. i could give up all other products to just use this, it keep blemishes and redness down so much. it says it's a 'mattifying' moisturiser and i don't really see how it's mattifying, i mean it makes my skin look amazing, and keeps it so soft, but i wouldn't exactly agree with that exact name.


so this is what i do every morning, i cleanse in the morning as well as the evening just so i know that all my make up is off before i put any more on. i hope this is given you a little insight into what i do, and maybe you'll give some of these products a go, i think you defiantly should because they are all brilliant! anyways i will see you all soon!
